ALLRISE DC 5th Anniversary Celebration

Dear Friends,

Join us to celebrate ALLRISE DC's 5th anniversary and honor the many women and men who have helped us put on quality and varied programming from the very beginning.

We can hardly believe it has been five years since ALLRISE DC (or its no-name predecessor!) offered its first program with distinguished women leaders in financial services sharing their ups and downs and lessons learned in navigating their rise to the top of their careers.

Since that time and due largely to your support, ALLRISE DC has hosted more than 25 networking and educational events focusing on such topics as landing that first board position, managing career pivots, building your own business, the future of DEI, women in FinTech, trade association CEO careers and the importance of risk-taking, just to name a few.  We also started our Women of Influence program where we hosted one-on-one conversations with women making a difference in financial services, and our Allies program featuring discussions with men committed to championing women and minorities in the financial services sector.  We hosted post-election de-briefs, a two-day program designed to help women leaders re-imagine their personal and work lives in the midst of covid’s disruption, and we explored the challenges of supervising banks in a post-pandemic environment with senior women supervisors.

To celebrate this milestone, honor our past speakers and sponsors, and acknowledge your part in our success, ALLRISE DC is teaming up with FS Vector to hold a reception at 1307 New York Ave, NW on Wednesday, December 13th from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.  Our venue is a refurbished Beaux-Art style building that previously served as the original home to The Washington Times-Herald newspaper.  The Bouvier Club where we will hold our celebration recalls the glamor of the building’s iconic past and pays tribute to Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis, a reporter and photographer for the Times Herald.

Over 20 of our featured speakers and sponsors will be joining us. This is a great opportunity to network with them, as well as other supporters such as yourselves.

Please RSVP by Monday, December 11th.

We hope you can join us.

Sally and Amy

*As with all of our programs, this event is open to financial services professionals from government, industry, law firms, trade associations and consulting firms and is intended to comply with the reception exception to the congressional gift rules and the de minimis exception under the federal banking agencies' ethics rules.
